Ghost-print shadow-book

This exhibition resulted from the co-creation of a handmade book which had as reference the folk shadow theater. There is a close relationship between the way the characters are portrayed in the shadow theater and that in the world of woodcut printmaking. A common approach on ways to manage form, shadow and light. This idea served as a starting point for a creative exchange of views and information between Arurkokk & Tefra90, marrying different perspectives and realizing an impulse for collaboration between them.

The exhibition took place at the art space ETCH INK of the Athens Printmaking Centre Pandolfini and Siaerli S.M.C.E. 19 September 2020.

Curated by Arurkokk & Tefra90.
